The watch in the bedside drawer with a flat battery.
Watch 6, 7, 8, Classic or Ultra. Bluetooth or LTE, and yes, we know which one yours is worth more.
Smartwatches get abandoned faster than any other device. The novelty runs out, the charging becomes a chore, and it ends up in a drawer with a flat battery about eight months in. Almost nobody thinks to sell one.
They are worth less than phones, which is unsurprising, and more than nothing, which surprises people. A recent Watch in decent condition is a few thousand rand, and the courier costs you nothing.
The two things that change the number most are the size and whether it is the LTE version, and both are easy to get wrong from memory. Check before you pick.
Every one of these has two numbers.
What it is worth working, and what it is worth faulty. Both are real, both are yours in about a minute, and both depend on the actual device rather than a best case printed on a page. That is why the number lives in the calculator and not in a table here.

If you are upgrading, you are not selling. You are part-paying.
If the watch stopped being worn because of battery life, the newer generations genuinely fixed a lot of that. If it stopped being worn because you did not want a watch, sell it and enjoy the bare wrist.
Take the payout as EpicDeals.co.za credit instead of cash and we add 12% on top. That is us paying you for not needing the money in your account today, and it costs you nothing if you were going to spend it here anyway.
The 12% is only worth taking if you were going to spend it. If you need the cash, take the cash, and we will not make the voucher hard to refuse.
What actually moves the number.
Size and connectivity
40mm and 44mm are different prices, and LTE is worth more than Bluetooth-only. Both are on the back of the case or in the Wearable app, and both are commonly misremembered.
The screen and the bezel
A watch face lives on your wrist and meets every doorframe. Scratches on the glass are the most common deduction, and a deep one on the display is a real subtraction.
Battery health
Watch batteries are tiny and they degrade quickly. A watch that no longer lasts a day is common at two years old and is priced accordingly rather than refused.
The charger, which is model specific
Watch chargers are not interchangeable across every generation and are frequently lost. Send it if you have it.
Things that do not disqualify it.
Every one of these lowers the offer. Not one of them ends it. Pick the matching condition, say what is wrong in the notes, and the price you are shown already accounts for it.
- Scratched or cracked watch glass
- Battery that will not last a day, or at all
- Charging puck missing or no longer connecting
- Rotating bezel that has stopped clicking
- Heart rate sensor that has stopped reading
- Worn or missing strap, which is a small deduction
- Will not switch on at all
Three ways to take the money.
