Until the next Unpacked this is the newest Galaxy there is, and that carries a premium which disappears on a specific day rather than fading gently. On this page it is the single largest factor, and it is entirely about timing.
Storage, which matters more at the top
On a mid-range phone the gap between 128GB and 256GB is small money. On an S26 Ultra the gap between 256GB and 1TB is real, because the people buying second-hand Ultras are usually buying them to shoot video on.
Whether it lived in a case
The S26's frame and rear glass both scuff, and the Ultra's flat titanium edges show handling more than people expect. A phone that has been in a case since day one, with the factory film still on the camera ring, is worth noticeably more than the same phone bare.
Battery health, even at this age
A phone this new should still be showing very close to full capacity under Settings, Battery, Battery health. If yours is not, that says something about how hard it has been fast-charged, and buyers price it accordingly.
