Nervous about sending your beloved Samsung out into the unknown?
No need to worry!
Scroll down to view the simple process:
Get a price on our website.
It takes less than 30 seconds.
We will offer you as much as we can. We need to cover courier fees & make a small profit.
Submit your details and let us know when you’d like your device collected.
Oh, and your banking details, so we can pay you.
That’s pretty important.
Package your device so it’s protected against any damage during transit.
Sit back – your job is done. Now the couriers do what they are good at – rushing your Samsung to us.
We test the device and pay you!
We’ll be in contact if anything is not as expected.
Celebrate your new-found wealth!
Use the website to see how much we can offer for your Samsung phone or tablet.
We aim to offer you as much as possible, while still being able to resell your device at a sustainable profit.
We have to take into account courier costs, labour, refurbishing and repackaging costs as well as the risks of fraud when we resell.
The website will give pricing for all the Samsung models we are able to purchase. If you have a newer model than we have listed, please contact us directly for a quotation to ensure you get the most up-to-date pricing.
If you have any other high-end tech device you’d like to sell, you are welcome to contact us with the details and we will gladly make you an offer. We’ve bought in almost everything, from dead P10 Lite’s to the latest iMac Pro, worth R84,000 new.
Once you have put in all the details of your phone or tablet, the website will tell you how much we can offer.
Common practice in the industry is to offer a lot (so you send your phone to the company) and then they tell you “oops, sorry, the market price dropped. We can’t offer you so much any more”.
We don’t have time for that nonsense, and neither do you. The offer you see if the amount you will be paid, if the phone is as you said it was.
If you tell us it’s in mint condition but actually, it’s in need of major TLC, we will contact you and make a fair offer.
If you tell us it needs TLC but we find it’s better than expected, we will pay you more. Simple as that.
The website will offer you three payment options:
1. Get paid ASAP
2. Get paid in one week (earn 2.5% extra)
3. Get paid in two weeks (earn 5% extra)
You can decide which is best for you. We pay extra if you choose to get paid later, because it helps our cashflow, and if you help us, it’s only fair that we help you.
Once you have decided, the website will ask when you’d like the Samsung to be collected, and it will ask for your banking and necessary personal details.
The couriers will pick up on the day you have selected. We can only do pickups on week days.
The couriers will rush your device to us. Please package your Samsung carefully so it will not be damaged during transit. It takes 24 working hours for us to receive phones from JHB and PTA, and 48 hours from other areas.
As soon your device arrives, we will check that it matches the condition you said it was in, and that it’s not locked to a Google or Samsung account.
You will be paid within two working days (but usually on the same day), by EFT, if everything is in order. We will email you if we have questions.
We bank with FNB. If you bank with another bank, the payment may take 24 – 48 hours to reflect.
We will pay extra if it is in a “better than described” condition and will contact you if it is in a worse condition than what was described and discuss a price that will make everyone happy.
Kindly note that if the condition of the device was incorrectly submitted on the website or if an incorrect device was submitted and you are not happy with the quotation provided, we do require a payment of R250.00 to send the device back to you. This is only to cover the courier costs involved.
We were the first in SA to start a business like this, and have worked hard to show customers that you really can safely sell your Samsung online in South Africa. Rest assured, you are in good hands.
Celebrate your new bank balance!
Absolutely.
We’ve built this business on trust and were the first in South Africa to start buying in devices online.

No need to go anywhere – we will send a courier to you, wherever you are in South Africa. Your Samsung will be safe every step of the way. The couriers take one working day to deliver to us if you are in JHB or PTA. It takes two working days from other major cities, and might take up to five working days if you live on top of a sand dune somewhere in the Kgalagadi.
To keep things simple, and for safety’s sake, we courier the devices to a secure warehouse that is not open to the public.
If you really don’t want to courier your Samsung, and you live in JHB, we can arrange for you to drop your device off at our partner business – Platinum Repairs – in Woodmead. Please contact us beforehand to make arrangements.
We bank with FNB. FNB to FNB payments typically clear immediately.
We make payments every work day, at 4 pm.
Payments to other banks may take one to two working days to clear.
You could also use the money we would have paid you right away as credit on EpicDeals.co.za, if you wanted to buy another device.
There’s some bad behaviour that goes on in our industry – offers are inflated and then when they receive your device they might tell you “the market price suddenly dropped” or “do you see this tiny scratch? That halves the value of your device”. Life is too short for that nonsense. We pay you what we offer you on the site – if everything matches up to what you told us. We are in this for the long run – if we were to use underhanded techniques, we wouldn’t have any return customers. Our clients typically sell us one device per year and often trade up on a newer device from EpicDeals.co.za.
In the event that we receive your device and we found that the condition of the device is not as stated on the website, or that an incorrect device was submitted, we will still quote you according the the device received.
However, if you are not happy with the quotation received, we do require a payment of R250.00 in order to send the device back to you. This amount is basically just to cover the courier costs involved
SellYourGalaxy.co.za is part of the Tech Revival (Pty) Ltd network, that specialises in buy-back websites, and the resale of these devices online, via EpicDeals.co.za.
We’ve been buying in devices online since 2014 and offer a fair and fast way to turn used tech into cash.
The device is unusable without repairs. The screen doesn’t turn on and there’s no sign of life. Devices purchased in this condition must be removed from any account locks – if any devices are found to be account locked at a later stage (after they have been repaired), the device will need to be unlocked. We can assist with this, if needed.
The device is functional without additional repairs, but has notable damage to major components. These include the screen, casing, battery, sensors and any other components required for the device to be in full working order. Deep scratches, cracks, or dents would qualify the device as poor condition.
The device is fully working and does not require any repairs to be used further. Minor evidence of previous use in the form of small scratches and scuffs are acceptable.
Battery health must be at 90% or above. If it’s lower than that, we would have to replace the battery before the phone can be resold. A fee of R250 would be deducted from the payout, to go towards covering this cost.
The device is fully working and does not require any repairs to be used further. The device has absolutely no signs of previous use, not even minor scuffs or scratches are visible, the device is as good as new.
Battery health must be at 95% or higher.
The device still has all original factory seals intact with no evidence of tampering. The box has NEVER been unsealed or opened, and the device has never been used. Devices must be free from any contractual obligation.
