The Note is discontinued. It is not worthless.

Samsung stopped making the Note in 2020 and folded the S Pen into the Ultra, and the odd result is that the Note still has a following. There is a group of people who specifically want a Note rather than an Ultra, and a discontinued phone with genuine fans holds value better than a discontinued phone without them.
The Note 20 Ultra in particular still turns over well. It is the last real Note, it has the S Pen and the big screen, and for the people who want that shape there is no newer alternative to wait for.
That said, these are now five to seven year old phones. The batteries are tired, the software support has ended, and the numbers reflect that. The point is that they are real numbers rather than nothing.

The S Pen, present and working
It is the entire reason somebody wants a Note rather than anything else. A missing pen matters more on a Note than it does on an Ultra, and a pen that no longer pairs matters nearly as much.
Battery, at five to seven years
Assume it is poor unless it has been replaced. If it has been replaced, say so, because on a phone this age that genuinely helps.
Screen burn-in
Very common at this age on an AMOLED that has spent years showing the same status bar. Check on a white background in daylight.
Which Note
The Note 20 Ultra sits well above the rest, and the Note 9 sits well below. They are three years apart and it shows in the number.
Things that do not disqualify it.
