The S22 Ultra is the phone that ended the Note line by absorbing it: squared-off corners, an S Pen silo built into the body, and a shape nothing else in the S range has had since. That gives it a following, and a following gives it a price that is better than its age suggests.
It is also four years old, which means the battery is the story. This generation was not good at battery life when it was new, and time has not helped. If yours struggles to reach the evening, that is expected rather than exceptional, and it is not a reason we will not buy it.

Battery, which is the headline on this generation
The S22 line was criticised for this when it was new. At four years old, expect a low number, and expect the offer to reflect it. Declaring it honestly costs less than having it found in testing.
Whether the S Pen silo still releases
A silo that has stopped ejecting the pen is a mechanical fault we see regularly at this age. It is a deduction, not a disqualification.
Screen condition and burn-in
Four years is long enough for a static navigation bar to leave a visible mark on an AMOLED. Check it on a white background in good light.
Whether it is still fully working
At this age the gap between a clean working phone and a faulty one is proportionally larger than it is on a newer flagship. Both are worth selling, but they are not close.
