Battery, which at three years is the first question
This is the age where battery health stops being a footnote and becomes the thing a buyer asks about first. A phone still holding above 85% is worth meaningfully more than an otherwise identical one at 78%.
Screen, and whether it has burn-in
Three years of the same navigation bar and the same always-on display can leave a faint ghost on an AMOLED panel. Tilt it to a white screen in daylight and look. It is common, it is not fatal, and it is worth declaring.
Ultra or standard
The same split as every other generation, and still the largest single variable on this page. The Ultra keeps its S Pen premium well into its third year.
Whether it still has its box and charger
Samsung stopped putting a charger in the box, so the cable and the box itself are what is left. Neither is worth a lot alone, and together they are worth having, so send them if you still have them.
Things that do not disqualify it.
